February 19-21: Yup, I’m going back to DisneyWorld. This time to work at the Tower of Terror. I need my MainGate to get into Disneyland for free. Argh. Next year, I’m totally going down to Florida for New Year’s Eve and just working shortly after January 1!
February 11: I heard my niece sat up for the first time today by herself. I’m not really sure if that’s a huge milestone, but everyone was impressed by it. My brother and his wife also gave the baby solid food (well mushy jar food) for the first time this week too. I think it was squash. She did not look happy with it based on the cell picture I received. But, if the first food I received was squash, I wouldn’t be too happy either.
January 15-18: Spent MLK, Jr. Day 2010 down in Orlando with Matthew and Rick Krüger-Ross. Had a blast! Saturday we went to Typhoon Lagoon to look around then DisneyQuest, where we were named Masters of the Caribbean. Then, to end the day, we had a great dinner at Boma over at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, where I got to hear all about the movies “Pray,” “Pray 2,” and “Pray 2.5.” Religious horror movies! Sunday, we started out at Hollywood Studios at 9am, then over to Epcot, then to Animal Kingdom, then back to Studios for Fantasmic and Toy Story Mania. Then, over to Polynesian to enjoy the Hawaiian pork bbq sandwich and watch the “Wishes” fireworks on the beach, then over to Magic Kingdom for Spectromagic and playing in the park til 1:30am. Oh yah, we found a bit of razzle dazzle and pixie dust!
